The sound quality was just as advertised. Deep bass and solid mids and highs. So0und blocking was exceptional as well. Thats about where the positives end. The quality is terrible. Mine went out after only two months. The jack assembly came unglued and the left earbud went out completely. About a week later the right one went out. Now i have to shell out more coin to send these back so I can get a new pair. Not what I expected from headphones that cost over $100. Funny thing is you keep hearing the same complaints, yet the product is still being sold.

Wow! I'm stunned that so many people have had the EXACT problem I just experienced with this product! I thought it was just me. The left earphone has just shorted out. I love(d) the sound more than any of the other headphones I've had, but I feel "cheated" to know that so many of these have come back...for the exact some reason!

Huh, I'm Really impressed- Got mine at Costco today. I was debating the Bose earbuds, and then I saw these at Costco for $30 less than this site; so, I got'em- Really Crisp, and nice lows. Makes a recorded Live Performance by DMB come back to life in your ears. Like anything though, they too can be pushed to their limit, where a distortion or crackle might occur. But, honestly they fit so snug, and deaden almost all outside noise, that there's really no reason to push them that hard. For the complainers about the Left earbud losing bass; I too noticed it during a FEW of my songs- NOT all of them. I'm not an expert in the field, but it would seem that it has something to do with the way the music was recorded, or how it's being converted by the playing device to give the effect of surround.

I've had these less than a month and the left earbud has reduced noticably in volume. Not what I expected for $100. Yes, the sound was great, they look great, they feel great. But what's the point of these qualities if they don't work properly?? I'm about to go through the returns procedure which will leave me earphoneless for a while. Poor effort.

these are great. the problem with the sound is just that you are getting earwax in the headphones and it is distorting the sound. You need to clean them when that happens. over all i love them

These have potential but for they are poorly designed or manufactured. In 6 months, I lost sound in the left earbud and then sound became distorted in both. If you research this product, you'll see this is not uncommon. Frankly, I'm shocked that V-Moda is well aware of this defect and yet continues to sell it this way. It's inviting a class action lawsuit for knowingly selling a defective product and fraud.

I have had them for about a year now and they have taken a beating not only from me working out but they even have survived a swim in my washing machine. Quality, amazing sound, a sleek design are only a few things that you can expect when purchasing these headphones

Great sound. Looks durable. Perfect cable length. The only negative is that once you wrap cables around modawrap they tend to take that shape and coil-up when you unwind them. Buy them. They're a great sounding earbud !!!!! Fits my ipod Touch perfectly.
