By far the best sounding headphones I've ever used. First pair died after 9 months of being used 4 hours a day on average. I'm disappointed that they died, but they have lasted longer than any other set of headphones I've owned in the past. I'm waiting on my replacements now and it's been about 3 weeks since I sent them back. WHEN this pair dies on me, I'm going to buy a second set so I'll always have one set in ear. I highly recommend these, but buy two sets =)

Sound is great, best I've ever come across in a while, and surprisingly really comfortable too. The colors and styles are a bonus. However durability is really quite questionable. My first pair lasted under 6 months, but since I loved it I got another. When I got my second pair, I was really surprised as the cord material felt really different. It was much softer, stretchy and felt kind of hollow. It wasn't even a week when I began to notice stretch marks on the cable. It was also entangle more easily than the last pair I had. It still functioned well though, so no complains there. I could live with that. Then again in some four months, there were some slight tears in the cable, probably due to the stretching and some of the wiring was visible. Then last week the right side stopped functioning completely. And the next day the left bud also died with a dramatic "power down" kind of sound. The international retailer listed on the site I got it from doesn't carry the product any more and I noticed my old pair works if you don't let the plug go all the way in. I'm using it for a little while more, but I'm hoping that a newer more durable batch to ship soon or I'll be switching to another brand. Still very confused about the significantly different material on the two pairs but I'll miss them for sure.

I loved these headphones so much, but you would not believe how many times i have returned them for a new pair. If its not one problem its another; the wire unravels, they begin to sound like the voice is gone but the music is still playing. Overall, i loved how they sounded, but its not really worth sending it back so many times.

I bought these late March 2008, the right earbud died in late June. When they still worked I loved them, great sounding. I have sent them back to v-moda for warranty work, and I should expect them back soon. If my second pair breaks, I'm going to buy from another company.

Excellent sound quality. I almost like the way these sound better than the vibes, but as others have mentioned the left ear bud quit working after about 6 months. I sent mine in for repair and expecting them bank anytime now.

I need to send back my second pair of headphones because the sound underwater. On my first pair the wire frayed. You should spend the extre money for the other headphones. Other than the the sound is great
