I love these headphones, they work wonders, until they started to die about 7 months after they were purchased. Mind you I did do everything your not supose to do with headphones, wrap them, throw them in the bottom of my bag etc. BUT for 100+ dollars they were less durable than my ipod headphones. -_-'

I would give them only one star, but they sound great...when they are working. I bought a pair for myself and one for my friend in Dec. 07. By mid-January my left headphone went dead. I started to use my original iphone headphones again, until May when I sent the duos back. It took a little while to get them back and in the meantime, the pair I bought for my friend failed. I got them back in June and they failed again today. My friend just got his back and we're waiting for his to fail again too. They should not continue to sell these defective headphones!

Well, I found my pair of these on the street on my way home from work so I did not pay for them. They work great so far after a week. I guess you need to find them lying on the street for them to work right...Ha,ha!

The sound is hands down the best I have ever heard. Even rivals my home speakers (Cerwin Vega). Only one problem. You can't depend on hearing the wonderful sound after 2 to 10 weeks of use. The cable/wire housing design is absurd. It is so fragile that I wen through 5 of them before giving up and purchasing a cheap, inferior sounding set from manufacturer. Vmoda SERIOUSLY needs to change the cable design. After they make corrections I will run (not walk) to the store and purchase another. In the mean time the ball is in their court to make the product reliable. Rated 1 star for being consistently unreliable.

I just went through my third set of these. The first set didn't work right out of the box, returned to apple store. The second set went out in less than two months. I treated my third set very very well but in 2 months I was getting issues with the left speaker going out. Now the left speaker went completely out. I will NOT be buying from V-Moda again. I'd suggest that no one else does either.

Everything was coo for about 3 weeks. Then out of no where the left ear bud goes completely out! F*ckin pissed. Will never buy VModa again. Wish I had seen some of these ratings first. $100 down the drain. Thnx for nothing vmoda.
